Choroi Medium Iron Triangle Set – Hand-Hammered

Choroi Medium Iron Triangle Set

This medium iron triangle from Choroi offers a clear, elemental tone with a shorter, more defined resonance, handcrafted for rhythmic clarity and attentive musical listening.

Choroi iron triangles are valued for their focused, grounded sound. Hand-hammered from solid iron, this medium triangle produces a tone that enters cleanly and fades more quickly than bronze, making it especially useful when rhythm needs definition without lingering resonance.

Compared to bronze, iron offers a stronger, more percussive voice. In the medium size, this translates into a sound that is present and articulate, well suited for ensemble work, rhythm exercises, and settings where precision and clarity are desired.

This instrument is offered in hand-hammered iron only, allowing the character of the metal and craftsmanship to shape its distinctly elemental sound.

Why Choose Iron?

Iron triangles are known for their shorter sustain and clearer tonal outline. Where bronze tends to sing and linger, iron speaks more directly, creating rhythmic definition and contrast within a musical setting.

Many educators and musicians choose iron triangles when a sound is needed that is:

• crisp rather than resonant
• present without filling the room
• supportive of rhythm and structure
