Personalized Michigan 2026 Anniversary License Plate

This plate features a red and blue background with white custom text. Four stars are featured on the left side of the plate and the number 26 on the lower left to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

Michigan is releasing a special red, white, and blue “semiquincentennial” license plate to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary in 2026. The new design is inspired by the popular 1976 bicentennial plate and features a modern patriotic look with stars and stripes.  The goal is to honor America’s historic milestone while bringing back a classic design that many Michigan residents remember.
