Personalized Netherlands European Style License Plate

License plates in the Netherlands are issued by the Dutch Vehicle Authority. Our replica tag is an unofficial novelty plate intended for display/decoration. Not suitable for official use. The Netherlands was one of the earliest countries to introduce a vehicle registration system which began in 1898. This yellow background plate features black text, black border and a blue stripe on the left edge. Overtop the blue stripe is the European circle of stars, and underneath the stars the country code "NL." This plate design was first issued in 1999.
