United States Coast Guard Coastie Cutter License Plate

An HD photo of a U.S. Coast Guard cutter zipping through the ocean makes this license plate really catch your eye. To the left of the ship is the text in large letters, "Coastie."

The term "Coastie" was first used in 1871 to refer to members of the U.S. Coast Guard. Since then, it has continued as an unofficial term for USCG service members that old salts still use.
